one of my favourite motown tracks ever by former Temptations lead singer Dennis Edwards. Heard this track the first time dancing with my wife on the beach and since then its 'our' track:)Also brilliant looped by Eric B. & Rakim's 1987 single Paid in Full.

The Netherlands has not only produced many world-class judokas (for example, Anton Geesink was the very first Westerner to beat the Japanese at their own judo game), but also the world’s foremost deejays. It seems that Dennis van der Geest is well on his way to achieving both accolades. Among a bagful of judo medals, he became world judo champion in the men's open division in 2005. Another feather in his cap was a bronze medal in the men's heavyweight division at the 2004 Olympic Games. 

Moreover, for many years, he has brought the same level of dedication – some would say fanaticism! – to the music table. Dennis van der Geest has long been an enthusiastically received guest DJ at a wide variety of dance parties. On top of that, he has been the star attraction at massively attended events organized by himself. 

DJ Dennis van der Geest’s repertoire can be best described as trendy and highly danceable groovy house with vocals and heavy b eat. He even makes forays into 1960s and 70s disco music, when he feels that the crowd is thus inclined. Truth be told, only the life-weary would dare to challenge the musical tastes of a heavy-weight judo world champion! In short, Dennis is always the life of the party, oozing power, passion, talent and joie de vivre. He released his first single, To the Sunshine, in mid-2008. This track is a collaborative effort with DJ- producer Ronald Molendijk. 

In recent years, the Dutch media have turned Dennis van der Geest into a household name. Blessed with the gift of the gab, the musical judoka has become a fixture on Dutch TV. In the coming period, Dennis will be working for various media outlets to shed more light on the Dutch dance scene as a whole and report on dance events featuring him as part of the DJ lineup.
