Cut The Swing is a track that truly just happened behind my back while I was messing around with sound design, and before I knew it, I had a pretty good foundation for a full track.

I really tried to push my abilities in arrangement with this one and I like how groovy and all over the place it turned out.

This track is heavily inspired by electronica-style game soundtracks. During my childhood I was a big fan of the Ratchet & Clank series, and I still am. Taking further inspiration from other games like 'Spare Parts' Snakeball for the PS3, I wrote this as a way of looking back at where I came from musically.

Just like I want to say this is tearout, but I dunno what even defines tearout. I've done this before but that wasn't really tearout either. Enjoy(?)

This track is pretty big for me since it marks a sort of milestone in my style. For the first time I feel like I've been truly able to capture a scene in my head and put it into music and sound. It plays out in front of me perfectly when I listen to this, and I hope Evergrey will let you imagine some beautiful things as well as you listen. Enjoy!!
