DUGAN is a Denver-based DJ with an eclectic background mixing everything from groovy Tech House and NuDisco to moody Techno and upbeat Electro. He is a regular feature at Beta Nightclub and Tracks Denver and a proud member and contributing DJ of the Hundred and the Bad Asstronauts which host highly produced music events. DUGAN has mixed at major events including Burning Man, Holy Ship, Global Dance's Supernatural Festival, and Denver Pridefest.

Hello-Hello, Friends (^-^) So roughly around this time last year (to be specific, it was Aug.11, 2023), I was asked to be the opening DJ for the fantastic No Mana. Listening to that mix, there's certainly things that I could've done better. Admittedly, I'm still kicking myself for the dumb mistakes I made. Over the last year, I've certainly learned a little more as well as become [slightly] more confident in my ability/style.

Flash-Forward to the present. One of the Talent Managers at Temple: Denver says "Hey, we need you to do Direct Support from now on. How would you like to be Direct Support for No Mana when he comes back?" In my head, I'm immediately telling myself that this is my 'Redemption Arc' from my blunder(s) from my set last year. But now, I'm even more nervous/terrified because this is my first gig in the "Direct Support" slot. Given that time slot, it'll also be my biggest crowd (in a club) that I've DJ'd for. Pressure's on, for sure.

That being said, here's my DJ set from last Friday [7.19.2024] recorded live. I took a few risks with this one (specifically playing some K-Pop and Anime Remixes). Hello, Friend-o's (^-^) To be honest, I have a bunch of other Live Mixes that I should've uploaded from the past few months but haven't gotten around to merging the mixer recording with the ambient recording to give that live feel. That being said, THIS particular recording wasn't recorded live. I asked if I could hook up my Tascam to record the evening but they already had something plugged into the REC OUT of the mixer. Supposedly, the venue was recording video of the night and that we MIGHT get it emailed to us but that remains to be seen. In the meantime, I decided to just record my set once I got back home. Anywho, I hope you enjoy. There's some surprise tracks that you might not expect (but if you scope the tracklist, it won't really be a surprise anymore, haha).
