I wanted to try to make a Shantae style song, primarily in the style of Pirate's Curse, it's my first time trying this, so go easy on me please!
I wanted it to remind people a bit of Salivia Island, but with some different twists, the piano solo at the end is just me doing me stuff

Fanmade Original Shantae Style Music

This is another one I finished quite a while ago. I don't see myself making another one of these for quite a while, tbh. Haven't been terribly inspired to make another cover for god knows how long now. That, combined with Ubuntu 20.04 completely breaking FL Studio and a lack of any good MIDI sequencers for Linux (trust me, I've pretty much tried them all at this point and they're all pretty horrid).

But yeah, I really like this one. Probably my magnum opus in terms of mixing and instrumentation for the device. Given that this game came out in 1996, the same year as the 88Pro's release, this, to me, is what it'd probably sound like if the Saturn/PS1 release of this game had an enhanced soundtrack.

かつてYAMAHAのプレイヤーズ王国で「東京ハッスル団」という名のプレイヤーさんが発表されていたこの歌が当時大好きで、プレイヤーズ王国が無くなった後も事あるごとに思い出しては歌っていました。
約15年の時が流れた今年（2020年）ツイッターで知り合った尼崎デヴィ郎さん（ twitter.com/Cop_LiarPophet ）が実はその「東京ハッスル団」だった事が分かり、この歌の大ファンだった自分は狂喜乱舞！
こんな事ってあるのね！！
嬉しさのあまり、早速ギター弾語り風でカバーしたのがこの録音です。

２０２０年１１月録音。

１１月１８日、「嗚呼 この空の下で」の部分のメロディをよりオリジナルに近いものに変更、再録音。

Trying to go for Hitoshi Sakamoto feels, so I've taken a few instrument for Gauntlet 4 here.

I just love this thing a lot. I tried to go for a more dynamic arrangement here, and I think it's worked out beautifully. All within spec, too.
