After almost 63,113,851.9 seconds Hanne & Lore are finally home again, gifting Monaberry for her 19th birthday with a groovy pounding EP. The needle touches the A-side and immediately releases the first euphoric and crackling sounds of Supergirl. A true Tech House firework, which ignites itself without having Hanne & Lore lose themselves in too many bells and whistles. The Supergirl leaves the stage and makes room for a bass line that is looking for its partner. Man oh man, you say to yourself, while tapping to the music. Completely lost in thought, you get thrown back into the electronic life by Cascandy’s synth-shots packed amazing rework.

Sneaking in under the radar late last year, and far too late for most end of year polls, came one of the most inventive and infectious long players of 2013. Hamburg heroes Deo & Z-Man’s wildly eclectic and playful neo-classic 'No Bullshit' was a riot of ideas, colours, moods and general party-rocking good grooves.

Released on the always forward-looking hafendisko label, the album fully deserves this extensive, similarly creative remix package.

Totalling 18 tracks, 'No Bullshit Remixes' had managed to pull together an enviable line up of producers to rework and reinterpret each of the album's tracks.

ARTTU provides a typically unhinged neo-electro version of 'Chopped Memories', while Marc Schneider's remix of 'Iced Out Space Lazerlights' riffs on the outer space groove of the original. Smallville boss Julius Steinhoff delivers signature piece of tightly wound deepness, while Frank Agrario provides a synth boogie-trip take on 'Slippin' Into Somethin’.

The breath of styles matches that of the original album - Faded Ranger choose to expand on the wigged out hip-hop chug of Two Blue Bros, while Lee Burton’s 'Smokeroad' treatment treads an ambient, smoker's delight path towards enlightenment.

Tiger Skin and Alex Dimou both provide exceptional dance floor damagers from the original source material, while Subz&Matik drop two equally killer breaks-inspired versions of 'Ms Oberheim'. Erobique and Luca Lozano both take on the single 'XTC' - and produce radically different, yet equally interesting results.

Elsewhere, Credit 00, Joney, La Boum Fatale, RatKat, SLG and Deo and Z-Man themselves complete the hugely impressive collection - no filler, no bullshit.

Exclusive La Boum Fatale with Rue Royale 'He Just Might (Deo & Z-Man Remix)

La Boum Fatale released his album 'Holygram' in April 2016 creating soundscapes and an atmosphere that vary from melancholia to euphoria. 'He Just Might' featuring British-American singer/songwriter duo Rue Royale was one of the tracks that made it on the final album but had got the remix-treatment from Deo & Z-Man way before the album release. The 'Mafiosibros' remix never saw the light of day until now and comes together with three original tracks from La Boum Fatale plus a remix from Heart Island on his 'Holygrains EP'. According to Toni, alias La Boum Fatale, the release of the remix is 'the least to do to pay the remixers respect' for their done work even though it has been a while since they worked on it and 'can't remember' the reasons for getting their hands on the tune in the first place, because 'it's been too long ago'. But 'probably we liked the track the most back than', says the duo, who doesn't consider the task of remixing the track as 'astrophysics', with a smile on their face and adds that 'a remix can be very simple or sophisticated. At the end they all have to do the same thing: they need to vibe.' 

La Boum Fatale's EP 'Holygrains' will be out on January 26th, 2017 via Sinnbus.

After almost 20 years of club business and countless nights of dancing under mirror balls, Luna Club, which is based in Kiel, brings together a selection of music from friends and family, to make up for the financial losses due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation. The whole compilation features songs from artists like Monkey Safari, Till von Sein and many more and it will be released in parts with 4-5 tracks on each output. Buy this compilation and literally "Save The Night", as well as one of the oldest institutions of Germany's club scene.

On the second output of the "Save The Night" Compilation, we concentrate on groovey tunes, disco moves as well as influences of indie electro sounds - starting with "Watts the Matter" by Afonelli taking you on a meditational journey through the depths of your mind. When you're back from your journey, Mister Till von Sein himself confronts you with “Earl Bob“, a deep house tune which helps you space out into summer-daydreams. Hank (DE), known for the contribution to Empore Music's "Facetten" Series, provides a synth driven indie track with dreamy soundscapes and hypnotizing vocals. Track #4 is brought to you by the group Gain of Seven and rounds up the second EP with a dirty disco house banger called "Until it's Over" ready to set the mood for wild nights.
