Amidst a European tour last year, Waldo & The Seventh struck up a collaboration in Paris with recording artist Maydien. The result is ‘Foreign Trance’, the lead single from Maydien’s debut EP ‘Hello Soul’ released 9th March. Even though it’s his second language, the Dutch vocalist’s gravelly yet soothing undertones match up perfectly with the two members from AGO music group, accompanied by an original production from Mitchell LC Yard that effortlessly switches up between a melodic & bass driven structure behaving true to it’s trance-like theme. 
The same praise goes for The Seventh & Waldo as AGO are constantly making waves, it’s hard to ignore their growing authoritative presence in a constantly evolving Hip-hop scene. Whether you saw them kill it at SXSW last year or simply log in to soundcloud to see them on the front page, the movement is undeniably real.

I started creating this EP attempting to make a project sound like a sunny Saturday morning (Six Thirteen ref check my last project "Temple Terrace") and I quickly realized how one dimensional that truly was. Every Saturday isn't sunny no matter how great the picnic you've planned. Bacon & Eggs quickly turned into a moment of not settling for living and smiling only through sunny Saturdays but, also continuing to fight through the stormy days that may come. Fighting for that smile. 

The name Bacon & Eggs represents Saturdays to me because no matter how wild and crazy the night before or the morning of, I wake up every Saturday morning and fix my 2 little kings, Bacon & Eggs(also toast..but it just didn't roll off the tongue right for the title lol. No matter what is going on, they know Bacon & Eggs is for breakfast. I made this project with the same love I make their Bacon & Eggs. This is my Bacon & Eggs for you all.
