I played at the Infierno Stage during the Opening Ceremony of the Cultural Aurora in Mendoza. Playing in the basement of the historic wine factory Furlotti was truly special. I hope the recording transports the energy and the heat of the dancefloor. A night to remember.

Each full moon is an honouring of a polarity and a chance in collapsing it. An archetypal dance of opposites intended to relate in as interdependent way as possible. Waking up in all of us the themes they represent and highlighting the ways in which we may be leaning more to one side or the other. In this case the Sun, our conscious awareness, in Mar's warrior sign of Aries and the Moon in Venusian Libra, our emotional desire for peace and love. 

Standing in our power, inviting our inner fighter to the highest principles of love of self and the other and setting the goal that our self limiting patterns bite the dust once and for all. 

That's one powerful intention to dance with. 

The set ends with a 12 minute guided meditation - please ground yourself in the end.

It’s funny how things happen.

I intended to play a Jazzy, Funky, Soulful, RnB and instrumental Hip-Hop  set in this sunset session, and spent many hours picking and listening to over a hundred possible tracks.

I arrived and did a sound check with 2 of these tracks and they sounded great.

But when it was time to play, I chose an ethnic new-age meditative flute piece as the first track, and then a soft melodic African song, and then the evening became a slow and mellow journey of Ethnic, multi-cultural world music. 

I am very happy with how it turned out, and now I have a weekly “Ethnic Chillout” spot at this beautiful venue - Apichada Viewpoint Lounge.
