Sherwin Rogers Aka De Postman, was born in Trinidad. At an early age of 5, he already was showing his artistry potential when he entered a dancing competition in his school and won. 

He continued to sing and perform even in his his school years at North Eastern College, in the town of Sangre Grande. He would captivate the audience with his smooth still and baritone voice. He entered junior soca monarch in 1986; He placed 3rd in the Njack  competition and 10th in the CDC.

De Postman continued to show his desire to do music when, while serving in the United States Army he entered a star search with a fellow soldier and won. He also will hold the mic as they would say, in night clubs and bus some free style.

After getting out the military, Sherwin started working for the United States post office, where he got the name Postman. He later change it to De Postman, to create some separation from all the other Postman named artists that's out there.

His fist song recorded was Riot. With this song he made his entry into the world of recording as an artist. He then did songs like Could Whine, Hornin Carnival, Feterhollic, Hot Gyal, Niceness, Spread Out, Trending Profile, No Wuk and others. He continues to add new material to his catalog.

De Postman entered soca monarch in the USA and placed 3 one time and 4th the next.
He shows that he can compete in the world of music and has good music to render to the world.
