Mayan Audio presents the 'Kalima Ep' an insight to the labels variety of styles from Mayan's home grown talent with this colossus 5 track sacrifice. This truly is the beginning of something special with the Ep showcasing the fresh new talent Mayan has to offer!

The five tracks on Kalima will broaden your palette of what drum & bass can be, so prepare yourselves for a trip. Opening track Lazer Eye, from Tuff Touch, is a bouncing, storming break-led intro to
the EP, which cuts and rips its way into reality. Don’t you dare sleep on this one, it’s red hot. This is closely followed by Phobia, by Traced. With just a touch of the old skool, the producer creates an entire world, in which the beats fly by at breakneck speed and the basslines leave you breathless. A massive track, and no mistake.
Next, jump into The Summons, by the one Roklo. Pure fire in the dance on this one, as it builds and drops like a waterfall. Electronic pulses help to push the track on, with clashing samples and enough weight to move mountains. Mayan have varied the flavours on the EP, but all of the tracks are united with a sense of purpose and direction. The EP showcases what the music is and what it can be in the right hands, hands like those of Mayan Audio. Next stop is Kritix, who provides the VIP of Traction, featuring Coppa. This one’s simply huge, and forms a fitting fix up to what became an underground anthem with the original.
The closing track forms in the shape of the dramatic Fade To White, from White Room. Breaks smash through this one, matched with epic, emotional piano and affecting vocals. Again this one has a classic feel to it, and will be rinsed up and down the nation in the clubs and on the radio.
Kalima will be simply massive, but don’t just take our word for it, check it out for yourself.

Wresker was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. His childhood was shaped by the very musical background of his father who also was responsible for various productions of rock acts like Rammstein, Scorpions and Motörhead, electronic acts like Vangelis, Westbam and Paul Van Dyk and also very known names of popular music like Roger Waters and Mike Oldfield. So, Wresker discovered his passion for music very early: he started to play piano at the age of 5. By the age of 11 he started playing drums and guitar. By the age of 15 he discovered different kinds of electronic music. In particular, the complex structure, creative freedom and broad spectrum of Drum & Bass caught his attention. At the age of 16 he quit school and started working for several social projects around the world, which left deep impression, inspiration and motivation on him. Soon he made first experiences with the local music scene in his hometown including dj-gigs and club promotion.

Besides his musical interests, he is playing chess and computer games, he is watching a lot of movies and also he is reading books from time to time.

Kilobite is the construct of a mind that does not want anyone to know about a certain reality. It is an illusion designed to make people believe facts that don't exist. It was created to name something which is beyond knowledge. But it is not possible to get hold of this entity. It is a self-dynamic chain of processing, creation and abstract form. It will disrupt connections within the information matrix, rebuild complex logical patterns and it will adjust itself in order to react to actual developments. It is an organic hybrid of condensed matter, capable of absorbing projections of all kind…

TELEKINESIS return on powerful form to the EATBRAIN label with 5 tracks of a truly insidious and tearing nature in the NO BRAIN, NO PAIN EP. The pseudo-friendly eerie nature of ‘Slime Gland’ leads the way, with nostalgic synth lines and airy pads punctuated by sharp steppy percussion. The amen-laced structures of ‘Meanwhile’ build into a lean assault on the ears with a bassline in a deep stealth profile tucked tight against the beat. ‘No Brain, No Pain’ delivers a schizophrenic and penetrative sonic influx, leaning towards the comedic but retaining an overwhelmingly destructive form. ‘Wipe Out’ carries the powerful vocal of Eatbrain MC favourite NUKLEAR, whilst ‘It Could Be a Trap’ completes the EP with an effective and exceptional half stepper that seeks to obliterate everything in its rave-fuelled path.

Following ‘The Nightwalkers’ EP that saw them win over the Eatbrain fanbase in 2013, Slovenian production crew Telekinesis have gone on to dominate the European drum & bass scene with heavy touring and an ever-growing fanbase. With the release of NO BRAIN, NO PAIN and their return to neurofunk’s premiere label, they’re set to ignite a new wave of tech-fuelled terror.
