The excellent Spanish based label Dust REC. (@DustREC) are moving into vinyl territory with their first ever Wax Series EP after the digital side has featured artists like Kwartz, Hector Oaks and H. Paul for example.

The original artist here is @KikePravda with his latest offering Mind Control and is also at the helm of SENOID Recordings in Vitoria, Spain. An exciting new project that as well as being mainly his own outlet has already featured Ben Sims and Oscar Mulero too.

The track we selected is the remix of the title track from Italian artist @Ness who heads up a label by the name of The Gods Planet / TGP and many will know from his music on Prologue, M_REC LTD and Synewave amongst other great imprints.

The rework itself has plenty of hypnotic qualities amidst a powerful and energetic main groove. Highly infectious and tool-like, it sets a deep and cerebral tone that will grab a lot of attention and twist minds with consummate ease.

Clergy has become synonymous with a balance of atmospheric and hard hitting brand of techno ever since 2014. The boss's own music has been key to that, with carefully curated releases from guests such as Dax J, Kwartz, Reflec and Cleric himself. Helping to make the label an underground favourite. ‘Clergy Visions 01’ sees Cleric invite an array on techno heavyweights to contribute to this compilation that’s mixed by the label boss himself.

K.O. has been releasing Techno music for about three years. He is always evolving and listens to many different styles of music. What inspires him the most is to work with hardware. He likes to combine different styles of music to get something new and being creative with the way he processes his sounds. While producing, he doesn't really have any rules that he restricts himself to. 

He likes to play dark and trippy Techno, but also that crazy energetic rave sound. This will be the vibe for this mix: dark , trippy and hard Techno changing to energetic rave and acid.

Rebekah returns to Soma with four relentless techno cuts on ‘The Bitter Boys Club EP’.

Following the recent ‘Ghost Stories’ EP on her own Elements label, the Birmingham born, Berlin-based artist brings yet another bout of the uncompromising and brutal techno she is renowned for to Slam’s lauded imprint.

Kicking things into gear is the titular ‘The Bitter Boys Club’, with staccato claps and wriggling synths whirling around the ‘twisted’ vocal sample, forming a tense and hypnotic cut. Biting, high-attack kick drums play off rhythmic scraping FX in ‘Lock n’ Load (One for the Road)’, creating a searing and continually evolving track hellbent on sonic annihilation.

‘Necromancer’ conjures images of the track title as ghostly, spectral textures carry the track alongside its razor-sharp percussion. Rounding off the release, ‘Confession Tape’, treads an eerie, unnerving path with pitch-shifting choral tones skillfully intertwining with an intricate but hefty bedrock of drums and low end.

‘The Bitter Boys Club EP’ sees Rebekah developing her sound, further distilling the techno templates of Birmingham and Berlin into something distinctly her own.
