For me, the last month was a journey of ups and downs of emotion, and I am happy. I went through all the feelings and emotions, and I re-tuned myself to become more grateful for everything I have. My set reflects these emotions: it has powerful moments and some softer parts. We can only see the light when we acknowledge our shadows and accept all sides. After a long night full of glitter and sparkles, the best part is yet to come. We swing on our bikes, ride our way through the morning sun, still drunk with happiness and colorful pictures glowing in our heads. Once we arrive at the lake, we let ourselves sink into the cool sand, overwhelmed and exhausted, taking a deep breath of the fresh breeze. What a crazy journey this was, full of smiling faces and epic moments. 

Everything and everyone is ready, this morning is made to stay forever as a memory in our mind. Speakers on and off we go. Although we can hardly walk anymore, the sound carries us away so much that we are willing to even get the last drop of energy out of us. Damn, how good it feels to be finally free again.

Our next podcast by @lenilow  lets us think of all the good old days and makes us dream of even better new ones yet to come. Soon it will be over, we can hardly wait for it. If you feel the same way, let yourself fall into the music and enjoy the flow of life with us.

Bambi Rambo presents Per Anhalter Garbicz 2020 [ Live - Special ]

BIO:
The traditional progression from club warm-up to international talent is a rite of passage for most DJs. But in Chloe's instance - the opposite is true. She first came to prominence on the global burner festival circuit under her Bambi Rambio alias, making her debut at South Africa's 'AfrikaBurn' in 2017 before going on to perform at Nevada's 'Burning Man' a year later. 

She became a staple artist of London's Burning Man community soon after. Decompression parties and grassroots fundraisers were where she earned her stripes, before honing her craft across the capital's club circuit in late 2019 at venues such as Mick's Garage, The Steelyard and many more besides.

These experiences helped mould Bambi's sound into what it is today. It feels at home in all environments: whether that be an urban warehouse or the ethereal playa of Burning Man. Regardless of the setting, her ethos behind the decks remains the same: to take those listening on a musical journey and deliver a deeply pleasurable experience in the process.

• What are your musical influences? 
I Take influence from a variety of things, I love to dig in all directions and collect old songs as well as new ones and to merge genres that would not necessarily belong together and always keep it on the uplifting and energizing side of things. I am mainly into house and deep house these days but had times where I was more into the techno and progressive side of the spectrum. I like to vary and reinvent my sound pallet over time :) 
 
What is your musical background? 
My upbringing was steeped in musical heritage. I trained as a classical flutist from an early age, opting to drop the instrument for electronic music in my twenties. Such a transition was kind of ingrained in my family heritage - my parents had been creating mixtapes since my childhood, making tracklists from their vinyl collection and then burning them onto CD for home-listening. It has always raised my curiosity and interest in how you really create a whole soundscape from a bunch of tracks :) 

• What makes good "afterhour"? 
A good after hours is all about the enveloppoing and evolving atmosphere. You had already a wild and uplifting party but you are not yet ready to call it a night so you go to an after hour party. And you want to prolong the goodness of the night and for this you need a fun and happy crew and a warm and almost hugging music at first. Then when the sun rises you can go to the meditative type of music and sort of dreamy floaty vibes - like time gets suspended and all. Then slowly as the sun rays get brighter and warmer, you can increase the energy and add more groove and vocals and bring in the audience to dance more and more and basically wake up again for another day of dancing :) 
 
• Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set? 
Starting off on a reinterpretation of a famous French poem "les fleur du mal" this mix then drives on to all dimensions of the holy house music galaxy... 🌌 With accents of deep and cosmic, 80s synths and piano riffs, afro and oriental, the DJ set was played in the famous Polish woods in the summer by Bambi Rambo 🌳🦌. EQ (Ewa Kujbida) - a paradox woman, and chaos is her third name. 124-130 BPM feel fine. Most often it takes people on a wonderful journey of memories of summer, sunsets and festival beaches. A big fan of musical cliffhangers (a fictional procedure involving the sudden suspension of action in a situation of tension), she creates musical, endless stories, leaving a certain dissatisfaction.

It's time for mix nr 9 yallllll! Delighted to share with you the next guestmix by Temple Rat(https://soundcloud.com/templerat) aka Mei.

Mei grew up near the vibrant megacity Chengdu in the lush Western China Sichuan Basin. At the age of 9, she began to learn the traditional Chinese Erhu, a genuinely mysterious folk instrument, two-stringed, played with a bow and made from carved wood and snakeskin, sometimes known in the Western world as the Chinese violin or the Chinese two-stringed fiddle. Inspired by her passion for the electronic music scene of Chengdu’s hyped underground, Mei started to fuse traditional Chinese folk music with minimalistic techno tunes.
Mei steadily improved her skills to express a unique blend of live ErHu performances with 4x4 electronic beats. She eventually started to perform as Temple Rat from 2015 on culminating in her much-praised performance in Shanghai’s 2019 Boiler Room. Her music is influenced by sparks of the natural and religious environment she grew up in, ancient oriental rhythms as well as by her favorite 90’s ACID elements. In 2017 she released her first EP on ADE China Pavilion Records and from 2019 on Mei collaborates with Tokyo producer Ryogo Yamamori with whom she released her latest album <Spring Dawn> on Kagerou Records which is available on Beatport and Itunes etc.
So far her musical career has brought her to cities all over China, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, HongKong, Macau and major European festivals like the Château Perché Festival (France), the Summer Story Festival (Spain) and the ADE (Netherlands) Carnival Bizarre at KitKat Club Berlin, the Boiler Room Shanghai edition, Block FM Tokyo the Red Light Radio Amsterdam, NTS Radio,SHCR ShangHai and Germany COSMO WDR Etc.

Auch wenn der Künstler der 42. Ausgabe unseres Podcasts schon ein paar Jahre mit dem Auflegen verbringt, ist es doch berechtigt, ihn „Newcomer“ zu nennen – in der positivsten Bedeutung dieses Wortes. Gerade mal ein Jahr ist es her, dass www.soundcloud.com/weisser-rabe sein erstes reines Electro-Set auf Soundcloud hochlud. Das Echo war gewaltig – auch wir wurden auf ihn aufmerksam und verfolgen seinen Aufstieg seit dem. 

Momentan weilt der gebürtige Kölner studiumsbedingt im fernen Boston, doch ließ er es sich nicht nehmen für uns eine ganz neue musikalische Seite an sich auszuprobieren und diese in ein Set zu gießen. Das freut uns ganz besonders, denn dieser Schritt in eine  gleichzeitig deepere wie auch clubbigere Richtung ist für uns deutlich einer nach vorne. Zugleich beweist es auch, dass Weisser Rabe ein breites Spektrum zu bieten hat, was für einen DJ ja nun auch nicht das Verkehrteste ist.

About Jenner: 
Jenner (AKA – The Dark Princess) started her musical journey in 2002 when she discovered an after hours club in Berlin, Germany with fellow backpackers. It was at this moment that Jenner began her love affair with underground electronic music. From 2002 to 2007, Jenner regularly attended Toronto’s night clubs and after hours that hosted many of today’s biggest DJ’s in the scene but it wasn’t until 2008 that Jenner bought her first set of CDJs and mixer, and began honing her skills as a DJ.
Since then, Jenner has played many Toronto clubs and events, including Coda, Summerdaze/Bespoke Experience, and Promise Cherry Beach. Her upcoming debut on the Mayan Warrior at Burning Man 2018 is slated to top her list of most memorable events, in addition to Camp Summerdaze and Harvest Music Festival.
Jenner is known for her deep infectious ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, hypnotic melodies, and perfectly selected vocals to captivate her audience further. Deeper. Darker. There is an excitement on the dance floor that’s palpable when Jenner gets on the decks. Close your eyes and feel the energy through the music.

BIO:
Based in İstanbul, BUSSI is a sound engineer, music producer and digital marketer. Formerly a bass guitarist, BUSSI was producing music into different forms in early years. Exploring music more, she had an extreme curiosity in sound itself and finished SAE Audio Engineering Diploma Program in 2017. Bussi, DJing in several locations, organising events as Rezonate and managing Harabe Records founded by Anatolian Sessions. Bussi is currently performing in many clubs in İstanbul such as Birdy Pera, Bonn, Mecra as well as other cities in Turkey: Ankara, Bursa, Antalya, İzmir, Çanakkale etc. Bussi's sound is a fine selection and mixture of Afro, Techno & Nu Disco.

Her adventure with DJing started just at the beginning of last year and since then goes like a crazy - she already gave her show in top Polish clubs such as Luzztro (Warsaw, Poland), Smolna (Warsaw, Poland), Poziomy (Warsaw, Poland), Schron (Poznan, Poland), O B I E K T (Zielona Gora, Poland) and performed at two festivals – Let’s Plant a Techno Forest (Poland) and LAZZ 2019 (Poland).
She is the first finalist of the "Smolna Contest".

dogheadsurigeri is a Polish DJ currently living in The Hague. She co-creates @MESTICOpl crew, which for the last four years has been trying to redefine music and club culture. Since 2018 she’s been a member of @Oramicspl – an initiative that supports the participation of women, non-binary and the LGBTQ+ community in the clubbing scene. Her sets are hybrid with rhythmic switch-ups blending cut-up deconstructed club-music with trap, UK bass, abstract techno and EDM snippets. Nonlinearity rages through the machines. Cyclonic torsion moans. Born under Scorpio zodiac sign, she’s ruled by impulsiveness and passion, which reflect in everything she does.
