Bar Jerusalem, curated by Akvilina, celebrates it’s 2nd anniversary this evening.
For this special occasion show returns with the new episode together with Mr. Monday, Sacha Mambo and Jokubas Bajorinas.
Mr. Monday will take us by the hand and brew us some steaming cardamom coffee before Sacha Mambo asks us take a deep breath, slow down and let ourselves be guided down the rabbit hole. Jokubas Bajorinas will take up the mantle last and make sure that his eclectic, textured selections leave a lasting impact long after we emerge back to our realities.

Starting this year with a special guest Eleganter Elephanter, this recorded hour plunges into the dark, into the unknown, but also into what is unfortunately far too real at the moment.

Going back to Fusion 2014, Eleganter Elephanter's set was one of the initial sparks for me to get into experimental music. This particular mix has remained a permanent fixture in my playlists over the years. Many of the songs from it are extremely charged for me, simply because I now associate so many important moments with them. The fact that he has now recorded a metamorphosen, to me is something very special :)

Hello there, 

Hereby presenting the 8th installament of Dee Dee’s Picks on Fade Radio. This month’s broadcast serves as an hommage to Der Kern bar, a bar situated on the Langestrasse in Zurich. This bar is particuarly significant to me as it was the starting point for many of my endeavours with Dee Dee's Picks in the Swiss German part. A venue, where laughs were shared, passion for records were enthused and bottomless beer glasses were consumed, is where I met many people that eventually got released or featured as a guest on my radio shows. Der Kern bar holds a special place in my heart, as I am sure to many others. Therefore the selection behind this mix revolves around the many records that we have played throughout the many evenings at Der Kern. A personal "best of" selecta, if you will.

Taking over behind the decks for this month's broadcast could not be fitted more adequatly with Fabian Stacoff aka Max Bunt. Fabian has been the face not only responsible behind the genesis of Der Kern logo, but also the preacher of obscure records that served as the soundtrack of many evenings through his residency at Der Kern. If you wish to learn more about my first encounter with Fabian and who is the persona behind this creative individual, you can do so via our website through the chat we had titled "Longing on the Langstrasse". 

Thank you to Murat and Pauline for hosting me when I need a place to crash and play and for the good times that were spent together.
