Cultured underground techno outlet Stripped Down Records welcomes back regular family member Ken Hayakawa for two more of his impactful tracks. We are delighted to premiere the first track of the EP.

Hayakawa was born in Salzburg to a Japanese mother. He studied the classical music of his homeland to the point of eventually playing Beethoven's music in several renowned venues. The elegance, melody and minimalism of it still characterizes the techno he makes today, and it has come on Schönbrunner Perlen, Trapez, The DJ Hell Experience and this label most recently with 2022's Kaisermantel.

'Mute Air' is a scintillating trip with wiry synths layered up into fizzing tapestries. They hang above the rolling drums to bring real tension and crescendo to the track before more delicate and enchanting melodies arrive and bring a celestial atmosphere.

"Paris 2008 … I just met my friend from Venezuela and asked her to speak some words in French, worked pretty well, so I made a track around. Le Reve means the dream in French. Something between reality and imagination."
