leicht gebaut, doch voller Gewicht.
Sie fliegen fast, kaum Bodenkontakt,

Geschwindigkeit trifft Gleichgewicht,

Eleganz im Schritt, Gewicht im Klang,
wie tiefer Bass, so endlos lang.

I waited until the night stopped moving.

There is a moment, just before the world exhales,
where everything hangs in a perfect, silent bruise.
That was the hour I chose.

I lit no candles.
I needed the dark to see me clearly.

The first sound was my own breath,
thin as a thread, cold as bone.
Then the pulse came —
not mine,
not the world’s —
something deeper, older,
dragging itself up from beneath the floor of my mind.

I didn’t resist.
I never do.

Some people fear the dark because they think it hides things.
I know better.
The dark shows everything —

that comes from knowing exactly who you are
when the last light dies.
