The Sound Of Hardstyle

We present you ‘The Sound of….’! A new concept in which we will bring an ode to an artist, event, the classics: you’ll name it. We will kick-off this concept with an ode to the mother of Hardstyle events: Defqon.1. 

This prestigious event needs no further explanation about why it’s legendary, it just is! We compiled a mix which we think describes the sound of this festival. From mighty anthems like Scrap Attack and Weekend Warriors to Shamed and Timeless, we will bring back all the memorable moments you experienced at the holy grounds of Defqon.1!

This first of many sets of our livestream at Studio Shelter is from Zerox! Zerox is a big fan of the Hardstyle genre since the early days. Inspired by his brother he decided to start with DJ'ing in his hometown. After a while he got infected by the music and decided to start his own act: 'Zerox'. Since then he got booked at big festivals like Decibel Outdoor and Intents Festival and releases his music at @derailedtraxx! With an energetic and Euphoric sound he wants to bring his music to as much as people as possible!
