After watching to many news reports about the current actions being taken by the USA government against its own citizens, this just somehow came out of me and matches how I see the overall political and social mood. 

The distortion, the slightly asynchronous beat and the overcompression are deliberate and serves as a metaphor supporting the above state concept behind the song.
