Audio recording of our set at the PoleGroup showcase at Human Club (Razzmatazz, Barcelona) on April 29, 2023.

The first 30 minutes of the 3 hour set were cut because of some technical issues with one of the mixers we were using, so they didn’t get properly recorded. Hope you enjoy the ride as much as we did!

Wise portrays a deep sense of knowledge and maturity in his sound, devising atmospheric soundscapes with a raw but modern touch, captivating the listener from beginning to end. His sets demonstrate this to full effect, consistently maintaining a powerful sonic trademark whilst possessing the innate ability to create hip-shaking poly-rhythms and multi-deck layers.

Before discovering the world of electronic music, Wise came from a background of drum and percussion which was guided by his Iranian father who was a professional drummer. This influence plays a huge part in shaping the foundation of techno that he crafts.

Wise’s 'quality over quantity’ mindset has seen him become a mainstay on influential labels such as Mote Evolver and BluePrint which has led him to work with some of the most respected names in the industry. His pure but passionate approach to music has given him the honour of gracing institutions such as Berghain and Fabric and earned him a residency at the esteemed underground Eerste Communie parties hailing from The Netherlands.

Wise retrata un profundo sentido del conocimiento y la madurez en su sonido, ideando paisajes sonoros atmosféricos con un toque crudo pero moderno, cautivando al oyente de principio a fin. Sus sets lo demuestran con creces, manteniendo constantemente una potente marca sonora y poseyendo al mismo tiempo la habilidad innata de crear ritmos polirrítmicos que sacuden la cadera y capas de varios platos.

Antes de descubrir el mundo de la música electrónica, Wise provenía del mundo de la batería y la percusión, guiado por su padre iraní, que era baterista profesional. Esta influencia desempeña un papel fundamental a la hora de dar forma a los cimientos del techno que elabora.

La mentalidad de Wise de "calidad por encima de cantidad" le ha convertido en un pilar de sellos influyentes como Mote Evolver y BluePrint, lo que le ha llevado a trabajar con algunos de los nombres más respetados de la industria. Su enfoque puro y apasionado de la música le ha otorgado el honor de actuar en instituciones como Berghain y Fabric y le ha valido una residencia en las prestigiosas fiestas underground Eerste Communie de los Países Bajos.

Boundary-defying British artist Tommy Four Seven has been a respected visionary in the international techno scene for almost two decades. Since launching to global notoriety, he has continued to be an in-demand selector and producer known for his ability to capture the dance floor with a palette of dynamic sounds and rhythms.

As accomplished in the studio as he is behind the decks, Tommy has built an extensive discography that's grown in parallel with his touring career. His critically acclaimed debut LP, Primate, imaginatively fused off-kilter rhythms with four-to-the-floor minimalism, while his follow-up album, Veer, excavated even more daring and driving techno-adjacent territory. 

47, Tommy’s own imprint, is responsible for some of the most innovative techno in the scene today. Its recent 2.0 relaunch has cemented his singular stylistic approach; in the last two years, it has showcased up-and-coming artists like Quelza, Tauceti and VSK, who stand for the sleek and sophisticated aesthetic that Tommy threads through his own mixes and productions. Not just a label, 47 is also a platform for live events that takes Tommy’s musical vision around the world with a series of finely tuned live events.
