Andreas Kruger, the face behind "Der Dritte Raum" has delivered a brandnew EP on Harthouse that will blow your socks of.
The A-side "Rot" is a puristic cracker that contents itself with a few elements that are so well and effciently put together that every listener will be thrilled immediately. "Rot" is the proof that it doesn't need much to impress a lot... well, at least if you share Andreas' skills.
While keeping it colorful "Grün" will give you a little reprieve with its atmospheric and almost dreamy tone. "Almost dreamy" because "Der Dritte Raum" doesn't fail to keep your feed on the foor with an inviting beat and lead sound that builts a positive mood no matter what.
With "Blau" we're moving on to a darker side which again shines through its focus on its reduced and high-end sound that will work the dancefoors worldwide. "Blau" will leave you breathless and impressed by its vibe which is paused just shortly in form of a break before it sucks you back in its neverending drive.

Der Dritte Raum – short D3R aka Andreas Krüger is possibly one of the most innovative liveacts Germany’s techno scene has brought forward since the early Nineties, the formative years when Frankfurt trance was growing into a national movement that would change the course of dance music in Germany forever and inspired countless individuals with its take on electronics. With two album releases on the incredibly influential Frankfurt Harthouse imprint, which was partly run by pioneer DJ Sven Väth, Techno Germany’s undisputed father figure who still spearheads the scene, and three album releases on Virgin, there is hardly any live act and producer as successful and innovative as D3R. Merging techno, trance, electro and house all into one to create his own distinctive sounds that has generations of ravers on their knees begging for more, it’s time to send them into frenzy again with another burner on the resurrected Harthouse imprint which lost nothing of its impact.

"Everything was better in the old days" has always been questionable. Music-wise we have seen major developments across the genres from the eighties until today. One track that defnitely ruled the clubs in the early years was Transform's "Transformation". Justifably considered an absolute cult hit, it seemed reasonable to see if a contemporary remix of such a classic could turn today's dancefoors upside down just as well as original did in the past. And hear for yourselves, it can! 
The original with its raw, puristic and light-footed vibe, spiced up with a hypnotic acid line and topped off with its famous vocal snippet that burned itself into the minds of millions of ravers in the glorious 90s, can certainly be labeled "timeless". Consequently the choice of remixer could hardly been more suitable with a guy who is responsible for a number of timeless classics such as "Hale Bopp" and "Electric Friends" himself. We are talking about "Der Dritte Raum" of course. 
Andreas Krueger aka "Der Dritte Raum" takes "Transformation" into the 21st century in the tried and tested way that we've always known and respected this gentleman for: hypnotic, driving and incredibly sophisticated. This remix honors the original and promises to become a hit itself. We are excited for this overdue comeback. Welcome to the future.

An undisputed classic of the electronic music scene, Steve Bug’s 'Loverboy' was released on the first Poker Flat release ever 'Double Action' back in 1999.

Over the years it has been reworked only by a few - but the list includes the likes of Josh Wink and Guido Schneider. Now, as part of the 20 years of Poker Flat celebration, more names are added to that remix list with two new superb remixes from Catz ‘n Dogz and Acid Pauli.

Catz ‘n Dogz are a Polish producer duo making big waves in recent years, and their version of 'Loverboy' brims with their unmistakable energy - chugging, hypnotic groove and tonnes of effects and melodic twists and turns.

Berlin legend Acid Pauli approaches it from a different angle - stripping away elements until a deeply trippy skeletal house track remains.
