Meet Me In The Middle

The second song on the EP, "Said & Heard," features a Dave Matthews style intro into a story of carrying the frustration and emotional baggage of a breakup for way too long. The lyrics have a dual meaning throughout the entire song. On one hand, I tell the woman that she is trying to go off and do something crazy. On the other, I realize the same of myself.

The third track on the album "Said & Heard" features an unforgettable guitar riff that encompasses the drama behind breakups. You have to hear it to believe it. ***Spoiler alert - There's a plot twist...

"Just like the trees that need the rain to grow old
So too, Love needs all this pain...or so I'm told"

It Won't Be Easy

The fourth track from the EP "Said & Heard" tells the story of a realization that many high school and college grads face. The realization that you have to be the one to make it happen for yourself. (Also, it's where the title to the album comes from)

"Good is good, but good's not good enough"

(I Can't) Sleep Through This

The final track on the EP "Said & Heard" features another Dave Matthews inspired guitar riff and continues the story in the way of not having any sort of closure. Starting off as a hand-written letter, it quickly became the song that has most accurately articulated that emotion.
