This was written for my cousin, Regan. Years ago, she mentioned how “Liquid Swords” by GZA is her favorite song. She loves the instrumental. I told her I would write a rap to it for her and she has patiently waited around 10 years for me to finally put it together. Wu Tang is a much higher caliber than I can reach lyrically, but I hope I did this classic beat by the RZA the respect and love it deserves. #peacetoregan

My friend Mary was commenting on a picture I posted of me in the Buttes, Sutter California. She challenged me to write a rap for it. I thought that “Big Ol’ Butt” by LL Cool J would fit the “world’s smallest mountain range” concept of the song. Here’s what I came up with to the “Big Ol’ Butt” instrumental. In hindsight, I should have shouted out Mary instead of Becky. Sir Mix A lot won my train of thought at the time of recording.

SECOND HAND RAPPERS.

The origin of this song came from a night in Astoria Queens, NYC, when I was trying to fall asleep and this random line came to me. It was “housewarming gift from your perfect date” and I liked it so much that I kept saying it as I fell asleep in the hopes that I would remember it. I’m not sure when I came up with the “on a scale of 1 to 10 she’s a seven” but I thought that was funny. Then Sam and I sat down with that idea in mind and I wrote the rest of the lyrics to this arrangement he came up with. This is one of my favorites of ours, although Sam isn’t too fond of it himself. I was just poking fun at the dating scene.

This was a song that was written and loosely performed as a dedication to the people that think that just because they have a big truck, they can drive anywhere they want without getting stuck. The second half of this song was purely random and had no direction. Recorded during the blizzard of February 2011 for the "We're Gonna Need More Holy Water" EP

I like to write and perform music. Started in Hip Hop as an MC, and then started a band (duo) to do acoustic, indie type music. Mostly a hobby, but really have a love for it. The acoustic songs are with my duo called FIENDHAPPY., which consists of me and Sam Norris. The song "Action Figures" is by me and Aaron Hlusko. That duo is named Lead Foots of Justice.
