Craig has been an NSA favorite for a few years now, back in 2010 his track Birdshell on Instruments of rapture first grabbed our attention. Since then Craig has produced and remixed various outstanding records on his label Magicfeet Recordings. We had the pleasure of bringing him North of the border for his Scottish debut in 2013, he now returns to play NSA in 2017.

A highly respected purveyor of the finest music money can’t buy, professional beat-raconteur and upstanding member of the disco dance music community, Mr Sean Johnston creates ethereal sonic landscapes both in his productions and behind the decks of any dance floor.  Sean's productions as Hardway Bros have graced many of our go-to labels, most recently hot New York label Throne of Blood. He is an in-demand remixer, having reworked artists such as Alien Alien, The Asphodells, Haules Baules, Craig Bratley and Ajello. It is with great pleasure that our favourite number is taken up with this mans music! Vol. 23 of Hostage Radio is now live!!

This week is a special one for us, and we are totally honoured to welcome Hardway Bros to our series. Probably best known in the modern day as one half of the enigmatic DJ duo ALFOS, Sean Johnston has long been one of our favourite selectors and with very good reason. 

Today he guides us on a two hour tour of the known universe, main points of interest include, but are not limited to; sidewinding psychedelia, low slung instrumentation, bubbling acid bass, and arps galore. 

All we can say is frothzoid.

Hailing from London, Sean Johnston is one half of the infamous "A Love From Outer Space" duo alongside Andrew Weatherall and also part of Hardway Bros. Described as an "Acid-House Veteran, Techno Survivor and Alpinist" he has released plenty of records on labels and outfits such as Throne Of Blood, Sabres Of Paradise, Luna Flicks, Astro Lab or IsItBalearic?!
