I’ve always liked the idea of the Phantom of the Opera. There’s a monster living in your basement! That’s great stuff with a lot of potential for some real terror.

But honestly, the phantom has to be the most disappointing character ever. Inevitably, the role is played by some skinny/fat dude from drama class… the type of guy who couldn’t intimidate a room full of pre-schoolers at Halloween… Well, I solved the problem… I sound like a monster…

I wonder if this explains why no one ever asks me to sing for them?
