What's shakin' funky people?!  We are back with Volume 207 of the series and we are thrilled to welcome a man who has been on fire lately with numerous heater releases, hailing from Fresno, California, we welcome Jason Merle to SRS!!

Hailing from The Tower District in Fresno CA, Jason Merle has been playing records since 1997. After
moving to the Bay Area to swim with the big fish, he began to produce and play with some of the incredible
DJ’s that saturate the scene in San Francisco and eventually moved back to Fresno where he continued his
rise until 2008.
Fast forward a decade after concentrating on fatherhood and he is back at it. Producing tracks and starting his
own label 4E&A Records, he is focused and passionate about learning and improving in the studio and playing
tracks that honor the past and create visions of the future. He may be a little less intoxicated this time around,
but he is just as dizzy in love with house as he was back in the day.

Derek Curtis is no stranger to the Teesside DJ circuit having been a regular face serving up a great taste in house music across the towns more popular venues during the mid-late 90s & early 2000s, including regular stints at The Arena & a DJ competition win at (the much loved) Bar Zantia on Albert Road.

Following a brief hiatus, Derek returned playing an integral part in the Groovebox events throughout Middlesbrough, Darlington & Newcastle bringing to town legends such as Mark Farina & Greg Wilson as well as a host of emerging & established names such as Mr Mendel, Kon & others. Taking on a more eclectic taste & playing to the areas trendier nightspots, Derek's versatility has recently seen him support the likes of Heller & Farley, Get Down Edits & the launch of the upcoming Electric Boogie Disco Warehouse featuring edit king, Al Kent on 8/6/19 at Base Camp, Middlesbrough.
