"Flourescent" Mad Elizabeth

Almost 2 or 3 years ago some of my good friends and I sat in a hot garage and recorded a mixtape. We never finished it and we moved on with our lives.
I'm not much of a musician these days, I find my creative outlet in writing mostly. Yesterday, however, I witnessed a man die. His motorcycle was hit right behind me while I ate my dinner in a McDonald's parking lot. 
I don't know why but I loaded my flash drive of the Reaper projects from the tape and felt different today. I don't feel right sharing the whole thing unfinished, but this part of this song, ironically the last part of the mixtape/album, resonated with me profoundly. 
I, at least, wanted to share this. Life is short and I'm proud of it. A minute hasn't gone by in the last 24 hours that I haven't thought of that man. I didn't know him and I'll leave the name given by the police anonymous out of respect of the family, but I will never forget that. I watched a man die, I witnessed a woman's life get ruined within an instant that no one could control. 
Life is short, fickle, and damn cruel. Here's music one of my best friends wrote and I was lucky enough to record and perform on.
