Formed in London in 2014 by Rich on drums and Reno on guitars and vocals, Derelics slowly outgrew its stoner rock roots to turn into a 4 piece experiment in mixing styles and flavours into a kaleidoscopic heavy rock stew. Keeping the volume up while turning to late 60’s Cream-esque freak outs, early 70’s Miles Davis jazz rampages, a rush of timeless eastern and middle eastern sounds and early 2000 Austin style neo-psychedelia for mind expansion, Derelics is a work of making old and new, east and west, muddy and light grooves meet to lo(o)se(n) yourself up in a trance.
After 5 years spent refining their craft on and off stage and finding their place
in a crowded London rock scene, 2 EPʼs well received by underground rock

JB Pilon at Buffalo Studios and mastered, with praise, by Graeme Durham (The
White Stripes, Sigur Ros, Bob Marley, Joy Division, Grace Jones) coming out soon is the
occasion to give a complete and more diverse picture than before and summon
the ghosts of folk, dub, blues, stoner rock, drum and bass and dirty funk
together in a coloursome psychedelic celebration.
Itʼs 1969, 1991 and 2019 all at the same time in Derelics.
