"They Made It Their Own" emerges from the memory of a school takeover, a desire to carve out a liminal space where time could stand still, allowing for complete detachment from the outside world. Within this self-contained realm, the tribe created its own rituals, playing machines in empty classrooms and corridors, reshaping the void into a playground of sound.

In his second full-length effort, Plastique01 expands his dense, pulsating sound with a broader spectrum of textures and colors. Built on obsessive rhythms and hypnotic structures, They Made It Their Own is a testament to both freedom and determination. Yet, while it often drives forward with relentless motion and exuberance, the album also carves out moments for reflection.
Take Glass Gym Club, for example, a brief, two-minute ambient interlude that acts as a palate cleanser, splitting the album in half. Bookending the record are two striking outliers: Climb, a cut-up spoken-word piece that sets the album’s thematic tone, and Love Buzz, an airy, haunted finale that evokes a dissonant symphony of strange, fluttering insects.
The album also boasts two key guest appearances: Ukrainian techno esotericist Stanislav Tolkachev, who injects a sense of doom and tension into the galloping Grooveboxes, and Lady Starlight, whose presence adds a sparkling energy to the vivid, bouncy Octagon Song.

They Made It Their Own is an immersive sonic journey, where hypnotic rhythms and fleeting respites intertwine, shaping a world that unfolds with every listen.

“Clinamen” is the random and unpredictable movement of atoms, which inexplicably change direction during their fall and thus encounter each other. From this chance encounter, the divine does not arise but actually dies, since the atom is nothing more than the aggregation of infinitesimal parts of matter, converging into unity. From this one, from this singular, from this self, I want to escape. Having abandoned the vain glory and hope of passions, I strive towards the sacred, for the gods themselves are also made of atoms. In this sacred secularism of mine, in this exodus from myself, I finally recognize the truth: there is no difference between us and them. Everything converges into a single point, which is the whole. And I find peace.

You will find the rhythmic and unpredictable chaotic tale of the atomic fall towards oneself. As the infinitesimally small and the infinitesimally large come to coincide in the creative moment, even time bends and adapts in the service of this imperceptible revelation. Through post-tribe sounds of ancient reminiscence to the most contemporary clubbing subculture, passing through an exasperated minimalism that leaves no detail behind.

We are glad to present the debut album from an artist within the Organic Signs family: @solmadj . One year ago, the French artist planted the seed of this sonic journey with his set at The Memoir by Hypnus Records. Now, that seed has fully blossomed, unveiling a collection of new creations. Eight tracks that define his sonic universe, where DnB, halftime, and tribe intertwine in an atmosphere of hypnotic textures and pulsating synths.

The journey begins with Wetlands, drawing us into a mist-laden landscape where solitary birds glide through the sky and the dense humidity clings to every breath. In the dim light, a deep, enveloping sound spreads through the air, merging with electrified gusts of wind. As we move forward, distant echoes of other life forms emerge, thriving in the space between water and earth.

The first heartbeats stir in Mud. Continuing the path set by its predecessor while subtly layering new elements, the track immerses us in mystical soundscapes, unlocking portals to uncharted dimensions. Percussive fragments, scattered across the stereo field, begin to surface tentatively, paving the way for Clay, where the hypnotic progression deepens.

With Spores, the rhythm evolves into 4x4, maintaining the ethereal essence that has permeated the album from the start. Percussion elements phase in and out, leading seamlessly into Trimitic, a stripped-down yet profound exploration of minimalist Tribe.

The album builds in intensity, reaching its peak with Fungal Network, an electrifying burst of energy crafted to set the dancefloor ablaze. Then, The Consciousness of Plants slows the pace once more, introducing a whispering voice and a synth that oscillates fluidly, pulling us into its meditative sway.

The journey culminates with Reset, where the tempo eases, and the narrative comes full circle. The echoes of birds return, this time illuminated by the clarity of a new dawn. With Liquid DnB rhythms and textures, Solma concludes his debut album with a farewell that lingers in the mind, resonating long after the final note fades.
