Saudade is a word for a sad state of intense longing for someone or something that is absent. Saudade comes from Portuguese culture, and it is often expressed in its literature and music. Saudade is described as a kind of melancholy yearning.

My sincerest thanks to the wonderfully talented deepmagic for agreeing to collaborate with me on this piece. Without her beautiful, haunting guitar lines, it would not have been possible. Eternal thanks my friend, I am so glad we have created a smidgeon of art together ❤️
