This is a demo of the Intellijel/Cylonix Shapeshifter digital oscillator. Here, I am using it alone (no other modules!), patched into itself. I have oscillator 2 in LFO mode, modulating the Ratio, MOD B, and Shape 2 inputs. The Shapeshifter is set to "Perc Mode," and the Pulse output is plugged into the Sync input. I ended up recording about 40 minutes worth of sounds, so here are some of my favorite sections. I tried to make the crossfades obvious, so that you can hear the separate sections.

A litte late night improvisation featuring four AJH MINIMOD filters playing chord like voices. The bass line is done by the soon to be released ACL Multifunction Discrete VCO and the ACL Discrete Core Ladder VCF. Lead is a Cwejman VCO-6 with both Valhallah Shimmer *and* Bricasti reverb.

Some of you might know the word “Ikiru” from Akira Kurosawa movie…
