hi everyone,

hopefully you're feeling wonderful today, and all that you dream for is part of what you do everyday. 

because this first release is special to me i'm sharing it with people who i appreciate a lot! so here is a small personal note on why that is. 

for many years i have been trying, learning and diving deep into what i would sound like as a producer, to truly share me. it has taken me on a journey through the many emotions that have given me a lot of clarity to what is important to me in my music. 

the most important that i realised if i want to share me, i have to do it all, at least as a starting point. so in these 2 songs you will hear and find sounds that i have recorded on my travels, lyrics that i wrote myself and sang myself and arrangements that feel natural to me and this makes it even more exciting and scary to share it with you. 

i'm very grateful to have been able to have this be the result and i can't wait to share more of my creations with you this year! 

music truly has been a medicine for self development and to become more confident with me and my creativity.

Since I was a young boy, I dreamed of making music — of sharing sound, using my voice like an instrument, and creating something that felt alive. For years, I held that dream close but untouched, wrapped in self-doubt and hesitation. I told myself I wasn’t ready. That I wasn’t enough. Yes or no? The question lingered, unanswered.

This year, life unfolded in a way I could never have imagined.
Through a heartbreak that felt like the unraveling of my world, I came face to face with myself — with the parts of me I had long silenced. And in that tender, aching space, I turned to music. Not as a plan or a pursuit, but as a practice of presence & expression. There was no more thinking, no more waiting — only raw feeling, truth, and the sound of a soul trying to heal.

This album was born there.
In silence and sadness, in gratitude and grace.
It carries the weight of lessons learned and the light of surrender and acceptance — of allowing music to flow without resistance, imperfect and real.

Woven gently into its fabric is Jade — her voice, our shared memories, and the profound connection that shaped this chapter of my journey. Though our paths now diverge, I hold a profound gratitude for the love we share and the ways it opened me to deeper truths.

This work is not perfect. It was never meant to be.
It is an honest reflection. A breath.
A sound journey for those seeking calm, presence, and the quiet beauty within.

this track came to fruition being an experiment to see reach an authentic sound to reflect myself. this whole track is fully composed, arranged, recorded and written by me and it is a true expression of the artistic side of me. 

i describe this a deep ritualistic and mysterious track, with a forward motion, to takes the listener on a journey. the lyrics and vocals represent an emotion that i find hard to grasp at times, being alone, feeling alone but yet surround by energy & feelings all the time. 

this is my first expression within music, i truly hope you enjoy it.

this track has taken me a long time to accept it for what it is, there is room for imagination, space to fill in by yourself. a grounding drum rhythm with warm chords that take you up and but give the release to let go as well. 

many times i have listened to this track on tropical environments, it truly took me on a journey.

I am inspired by many genres of music, my music project deroos is a display of my wide range of musical taste that you can hear in my sets. Growing up, my first experience was created on Ibiza in the early 2000’s, I became inspired by music of all kinds and many Dj’s we still hear today, DJ-ing has been a passion, a way of expression ever since.

My goal with my sets is to create synergy between the audience, myself and the environment, with the most important intention being for us to have a great, joyful time with dancing & connectivity!

Currently I am the Music Director for our New York City home @thegospelnyc, where we continue the adventure to cultivate and raise awareness to our industry and global impact
