In these days were all the electronic music gets faster and harder, we are happy to start this Imprint Serafin Audio, to share some beautiful slow music with you. With this and all the upcoming releases we want to present you the huge variety of slow sound. We want to show that House and Techno with all its energy and physically moving vibes is not bound to any tempo, especially not the 120 BPM.

 

Our first EP Is the SlowMotion Debut of Steffen Kirchhoff from Rostock, Germany. Steffen is a DJ, Producer and LiveAct who is heavily inspired by ritual and spiritual music all around the world.The first track „Soulsong“ which features an ritual chant by Yvonne Seelensängerin interwoven with organic percussions and mesmerizing pads and melodies , invites you to listen to your inner voice and reconnect with your spirit. Next up is „Native“ a track like musical medicine which supports and reinforces the spirit of the native american indians who lived togehter in tribes and gahtered to celebrate the beauty of life & nature. The title of „Yajé“ refers to Steffens own psychedelic experiences on a shamanic journey with Ayahuascsa. It is the fastest and darkest track of the EP and invites you to dance with your shadows, the hypnotic groove and heavy bassline. After having faced your inner demons „Gaia“ helps you grounding your experiences and lets you feel the unconditional love of our mutual mother earth.

@intinahualmusic is a talented musician from Mexico that we met via our friends from @Voodoohop. The track that he send us blew us away from the first time we listened to it and we are delighted to share it with you.

Intis intention with this track was to take you onto a journey into time and space and to make you feel the tribal dance of shamanic tribes in Mexico. For that purpose he used many natural sounds like drums, birds &  native chants. He fusioned them with contemporary rythms and tried to create a connection with the ancestors and nature. So close your eyes, awake your inner animal instincts and enjoy this beauty in full awareness.

The entire Desert Trax family has come together around the ambitious new remix project for Poranguí.

Multi-instrumentalist, storyteller, and world-bridger Poranguí Carvalho McGrew, whose personal background is as varied as his musical library has amassed a stunning collection of songs over the years, and Desert Dwellers' extended family is helping bring his originals to more people through a double album of remixes as powerful as its source material.

Desert Dwellers themselves open up the new collection, Poranguí Remixes Vol I, and give way to new downtempo house producer, Spice Trader. As part of his travels and musical adventures, Poranguí has been a part of the Liquid Bloom live band, and now the project brings to life a reimagining of “Oxum.” Other Desert Trax favorites getting in on the action include TRIBONE, Stratusphere, Drumspyder, and Shamans Dream & Geometrae. An unlikely combo is even forged between Mandala Affect and dela Moon, resulting in a gorgeous, almost liquid drum & bass but silkier take on “Stardust.”

Another entire second volume of Poranguí remixes are under wraps for now, but fans will be able to dive into this first assembly July 12th.

In another testament to the collaborative power of fusing different sounds into a new cohesive experience, the Faran Ensemble Remixed EP brings sounds of a journey deep into the desert totally reimagined by the three talented producers Álvaro Suárez, Baptiste Sejourne, and Mose. These sounds of the desert meld seamlessly into the beats and textures woven in by these three producers. So saddle up that camel and don't forget the sunglasses - into the mystical sands we go.

Stardust, the third and final single from the upcoming Poranguí Resueño Remixes album, carries us away into otherworldly sonic realms created by newly formed End of Time (a project of Trippin Jaguar). This mix sets a foundation with the sublime voice of Poranguí while weaving delicate percussion and synths in a dreamy spacetime voyage. The ethereal soundscape slowly builds and flowers into an ecstatic trance inducing slow-motion journey.
