Mari Herzer (@mari-herzer) é pesquisadora, engenheira de mixagem, produtora musical e dj com mais de uma década de experiência com música, sendo referência pelo seu incrivel alcance de trabalho, com lançamentos em diversos selos importantes no país como Mamba REC, dsrptv.rec, EKORD, Nin92wo, Caldo e In Their Feelings, por sua participação em coletivos como Mamba Negra e ABSM, seu trabalho com trilha sonora e produção musical, e mais recentemente como parte da nova formação da Teto Preto. Ela se tornou um nome de destaque dentro do cenário underground de música eletrônica não só pelo escopo de seu trabalho e sua habilidade e fluência em diversas linguagens artísticas e sua capacidade técnica de construção sonora, mas também pela criatividade com a qual ela traduz seu imenso trabalho de pesquisa em ritmos imersivos, deconstruindo, distorcendo e reordenando elementos tradicionais de techno e suas variantes, produzindo atmosferas mentais tanto com suas apresentações em live-act como dj, onde consegue operar seja no experimentalismo ou em pistas fervidas de festivais enormes ou festas marginais menores e intimistas onde apresenta suas influëncias de ambient, techno e drum'n'bass. 

Recentemente, Mari lançou o EP "Dissidente" da dupla Distantia, um mini-LP que saiu pela label colombiana Insurgentes ao lado do discreto produtor paraense Blaming Waves. Além disso, participou de duas edições do Boiler Room, uma em sua cidade e outra em Londres. Na ocasião, contou um pouco sobre a experiência de deriva sonora-urbana que protagoniza em São Paulo, ao lado das colegas Cashu e Carol Mattos, em um painel de discussão na Universidade de Cambridge, e tem lançamento de álbum à vista pelo selo Mamba Rec.

The album is a cosmic psychedelic journey through the hyperspace and back by two wall-breaking out there artists/producers coming back together.
Grammy Award winning producer Youth: highly respected music writer/producer, sonic pioneer, and founder and bassist of Killing Joke; and Gaudi: international dub master and maverick producer of note. Two bass leviathans duelling their way through sci-fi, psychedelic dub space and the resulting album is truly a testament to the duo’s synergy.

‘Stratosphere’ is an alchemical showcase of spacious dimensions, a masterclass in weaving it up right and keeping it tight, with signatures and sounds from both pioneering producers, transmuted by each other into something unique and full of absolute joy and grooviness! 

Ear crunching, brain popping, bass dropping, feet bopping, heart pounding, life enriching, mind exploding, pulse racing, earth quaking - this album is of the future, but definitely not a stranger to past influences from this iconic pair.
