This song actually started out as an original track using a flute sample from splice. It wasn't until after I finished the project that I realized I'd accidentally just remixed one of their songs XD. Shout out to Bri Archer for letting me use her mandala to edit for the album art!

Solar eclipses are symbolic of a portal for exponential growth, a split instance where one can perceive the Sun as being dark. 

As the Moon dissolves the light of the Sun, what is perceived around you as well as within will merge into the unknown. As each shadow slips into unison, pay attention to both the seen and the unseen, the known and the unknown, the within and without. 

Once one surrenders to the darkness, light will make way, creating new horizons. When you harmonize with the natural rhythms and cycles of life you will balance your light within. Thus, becoming a vessel of light and love, to share the most pure and authentic part of yourself.

I'm posting this during an incredibly challenging and pivotal moment of my life. For those of you who know me, life is not easy right now. This is literally the one thing that's keeping me going. Music has changed my life, it's saved my life and it can convey emotion that words can't easily describe. The human experience is vastly complex and though I may never fully understand why we have to feel so much pain and suffering, there's also moments of pure bliss and love that follows. The past few days have really taught me a lot, I've seen the worst but also the best in people. Thank you to everyone who's reached out or shown their support in any capacity. 143 forever and always.

Also huge thank you to Jenny Washabaugh (ig:@proximal_art), she nailed it with the cover art. She's an incredibly talented artist and her live visuals are mesmerizing. Fun fact about this song, I have this set to release at 1 :43PM and apparently that is also the exact time of day that Jenny was born. This is my first time singing on a track. I figured if I were to record my own voice it better be a representation of something meaningful, so here I go, this one is for you.

This song has had a special place in my heart for a long time. It's one of those pieces that kept finding its way back to me, I knew I had to remix it. This took a lot of trial and error, I wanted to stay true to the original song while employing my own ideas and exploring new methods of sound design. Thank you for taking the time to let me share a piece of my life with you.

Precision has multiple meanings, not only does it represent my strive for perfection, but it's also a type of parkour movement. The goal is to run and take off from any ledge and to land precisely on another edge, rail, or corner. It only counts if you 'stick' the landing. With this tune, I aimed to be as precise as possible, and to stick the landing in terms of sound design and melodic composition. I hope you enjoy, this song took me about a full year to get around to finishing :)

My goal for this challenge was to provide a more emotional take on the song, while still maintaining the general vibe of the original. This track was somewhat of an accident, I was playing the keys and sorta got lost in the moment. Afterwards I remembered that Ableton has this feature where, even if you weren't recording, it will still capture your MIDI notes, so I recaptured my MIDI notes and turned them into this ambient piece.

Hopefully this audio finds you some grounding. Know that you are loved, and you are appreciated <3
