Jusdes is the creator and founder of the Afrotangé genre, starting in 2018. Afrotangé is a mix of traditional and mainstream African music from across the Continent blended with Hip-hop and nodes of Koloqua and Tribal languages. 

Prior to this Jusdes would add nodes of Koloqua in her rhymes as to salute her Liberian background and set herself apart from the typical lyricist.

Jusdes was born in the infamous Park Hill, Staten Island, NYC, where the legendary group Wu-Tang originated and call home, yet her background is Liberian,  West African. A country torn from Civil War coupled with a culture tormented by a history of mental and physical slavery, Jusdes aims to bridge the gap between the Diaspora and Continental Africans, one track at a time.
