As much as I love to play opening hours to see how the night builds up slowly, I love the moment at the end of the night when the lights goes off on the last record. The last track of a set it's extremely important to me and I always like to select it carefully the day before giving two or three different options to myself and picturing the moment in my mind. Usually each of them would be of a different length (3 to 4 mins, 5 to 7 mins, 7 to 9 mins)

1)Matthew Dear - Don and Sherri (Hot Chip version) / 2007
Released on the independent American 'Ghostly International', one of my favorite labels records in the electronic music panorama, I find 'Don and Sherri'  a fabulous track

2)OMD - Talking loud and clear (7" version)/ 1984
Released as the second single from the album 1984 album 'Junk Culture'. The single was a European hit, reaching the Top 10 in Ireland and the Netherlands, and number 11 in the UK. It also charted at number 18 in Germany. The song was released as a 7" record(3.55min) as well as a 12"(6.12min) 

3)Chris Rea - Josephine / 1985
One of the most popular songs by the British singer-songwriter Chris Rea, released in 1985 on the album 'Shamrock Diaries'. 'Josephine' was written by Rea for his daughter of the same name. Rea would later pay the same compliment to his youngest daughter, Julia, on the album Espresso Logic (1993).
I usually prefer to play the "french edit" version but for this podcast would have been too long (7.08min vs 3.58min)

4)Wish & Fonda Rae - Touch me (All night long) (7" version)/ 1984
Released in 1984, I am playing here the short version 7" (5.19min) whereas when I close a dj set with this I usually like to play the longer version (9.34 min)

Initially influenced by 'early 2000 house music' which his older brother and friends were partying with at that time, he soon became very interested in different genres of music made with Analogue Synthesizer and raised between the 70's and 80's such as Disco, Post-Disco, Funk, Italo, Synth-pop, Progressive Rock, but also more recent Downtempo, Chillwave, Ambient and Psychedelic Lounge

His different types of selections can fit as the background soundtrack in a chilled and relaxed environment, as well as the groovy music that moves party goers in Bars and Clubs
