Japaus passion for techno flared up in 2013 when he accidentally ended up at a techno party in Berlin's famous "Arena Club". He was immediately infected and since then, techno has been an integral part of his life and he can no longer imagine life without it. His fascination with DJing reached its peak after countless nights of partying, when Japau bought his first own controller - a Pioneer DDJ-400 in 2019.

Monasterio was an amazing experience, and I learned a lot during that weekend. It made me reflect on myself and where I want to go as an artist. I'm now fired up and ready to take the next steps in my career, eager to improve myself.
