scratchpaper - i want to make peace

the journey which descends into chaos
begins with boarding upon a quest 
with no realized destination
gathering influx realisations 
as a sponge removed 
from its ancestral ocean
dipped into lysergic acid diethylamide
until the swirling patterns resemble 
the sands in the wind

a measure of influence over time
the process of interconnectedness
every action spurring another
as we vibrate in every direction
colouring our world with sensations 
as every movement of gliding 
or falling 
through life 
pushes another
(perhaps without a glance)
the underlying patterns of the sensitive 
that even the brute can't deny

in the randomness of our assent 
within the sonic soundscape 
of this moment
we clammer into a swirl 
of undeliberated dances
which echo one another 
in repeating fractals 
in a feedback loop

divine beauty in the butterfly
which moves deserts across oceans
above the heads of us all
