It was one for the books! Flooded with up’s and downs. 

This was the oldest man in the history of Burning Man I believe; with extra days on the Playa we all got a little wiser.  It was wonderful to see people come together and weather the storms. 

Big thanks to my Robot Heart camp for making this after the rain party happen. Much love to everyone who came out to celebrate with us.

What’s not to love about Monkey Safari? The duo from Halle, Germany have been favorites of ours for as long as we can remember. In terms of Desert Hearts lore, their song Hi Life was the song that played when we celebrated our first Sunday Sunrise 2.5 years ago. It’s been an anthem at our parties ever since and every time it’s played we’re transported back to that glorious morning in the Mojave. To have Monkey Safari finally play our party was like a dream come true for us and they delivered on a monumental scale. The Sunday love vibes at our Spring Festival ‘15 couldn’t have been better as they crushed their 4pm time slot between Justin Jay and Rodriguez Jr. The party and vibe couldn’t have been better as the Desert Hearts Community surprised Sven and Lars with 100+ monkey and banana suits for the occasion. To be honest, we've been waiting to put this set out ever since we first conceptualized the idea of D Laz playing DH. Damian has been one of our favorite DJs and a constant inspiration for us over the years. He’s the only person we’ve given a 4 hour set to and he turned it into something that went down in history alongside the best sets we’ve ever seen at the fest.
