Having grown up with a love for House music, Simon Kidzoo has spent the last decade honing his sound and experimenting with many different styles and genres, in turn releasing on an impressive list of labels including Toolroom, Saved, Lapsus, Bandidos, Nervous and his tracks have been supported by key tastemakers in the scene including Eats Everything, Green Velvet, The Martinez Brothers, Mark Knight, CamelPhat, Riva Starr, Technasia and Gorgon City. The 'Changes' EP seduces listeners with its weighty drum patterns, crisp and energetic basslines, exciting synth transitions, electrifying vocals and ominous atmospherics resulting in two dusky rollers produced with the dancefloor in mind.

What’s Up Desert Hearts Family,

Lubelski, one of our favorite producers and long time homies, is returning to the label with his new EP, The Rave Scene.

Always boasting that left-field mentality in House music, our dude put together 4 massive tunes that were slamming dance floors and living rooms before and after quarantine.

Lubelski kicks off the release with the title track, toting distorted acid lines, ravey chory stabs, and a vocal line that embodies his mantra in the studio — “I eat, sleep, shit… Techno, House, the culture, whatever it is… but I never shut it off for 5 minutes.”

Following up with ‘Ain’t Going Like It Should’, Lubelski perfectly captures the feelings we are all having during this pandemic with a funky bending baseline and some soft and instantly ear grabbing synth chords. The Rave Scene ain’t going like it should.

Next on the release is ‘Designer Grooves,’ a beat that speaks for itself. This groove was meant to make you move.

Lubelski closes out the release with ‘Quitting Is For Losers’, a simplistic, yet clearly refined cut that shows there just ain’t no way of stopping the eccentric producer.

Bringing in serious heat heading towards Spring 2021 Origins Rcrds head honcho Josh Butler joins forces with long time friend and fellow hit maker, Bontan, for their first release together in nearly 4 years to deliver something to Set Your Soul On Fire.

The pair last teamed up together in 2017 and the result was Call You Back, which dropped on Origins and went on to become one of Beatports biggest ever selling tracks. Since then both producers have released a never ending supply of dance floor weapons on label such as Rejected, 8Bit, Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels, and Circus Recordings, Club Bad, with Josh remixing or collaborating with the likes of music luminaries like Carl Cox, Beverly Knight and Robert Owens, whilst similarly Bontan has gone on remixing and working with Groove Armada, Serge Devant, and Yousef.
