Welcome to our first volume of our podcast series "WAYU Stories". 

We decided to create a new way for our artists and friends to share their stories with a recorded mix. The first Volume was created by Berlin based duo Hülshoff & Rheinländer. They will be releasing new music very soon on our label, so we thought it would make perfect sense for them to start our series.

AMZA - the 67th Storyteller shows up from the smooth side of our orbit, to represent his organic downtempo experience with a percussion driven sundown journey. Diverse like the nature, the wind carries you onto the top of the mountains, where the cold snowflakes fall on your skin, to melt on the surface of your heated body. Sure this is as deep as it makes you high, dark like a valley, and shiny like the sun, fitting in a dualism way. Best moods delivered by now.

Approximately 1 month after landing in Bali for a 5-day trip, I consider myself extremely fortunate that in a time of isolation and the shift to true human connection, that I was able to find like minded seekers and feelers who also believe that music should never stop. These connections go beyond just the ones in our immediate midst, as the ones that are forged in dusty places are also incredibly hard to shake.

The 10th Commandment

Mo Bangles, a.k.a Desert Jesuz, rekindled his passion for DJ-ing in 2018 after a hiatus since the Vinyl era, where Jorge Capkovic (R.I.P) played a pivotal role. His journey was reignited by the mesmerizing Playa Sounds experienced during his inaugural visit to Afrikaburn. A promise made to himself materialized in 2019 when he returned to deliver his debut Burn set.

The Ethiopian Coffee Fractal Chill became the canvas for Mo's distinctive blend of Downtempo beats and Slow Soulful music, a departure from the usual Burn soundscape. 
The ambiance he crafted resonated deeply with the audience, offering a profound sense of peace, love, and tranquility. The crowd's enthusiastic response became Mo's driving force to continuously share his music with beautiful souls.

While Mo doesn't have a specific genre preference, he believes in playing music that exudes love from the heart. Influenced by legends like Sasha, John Digweed, and Sander Kleinenberg, who captured his imagination during the Underground era, 
Mo also draws inspiration from local talents like Don Wildman and KRIZZOLOGY (Family), #The Thrillogy 

Mo extends his gratitude to music enthusiasts worldwide, acknowledging the support and love he has received. He considers himself honored and blessed by the connection. He envisions music as the binding force that harmonizes us in the matrix of existence.
