This sound piece was composed and recorded by Desert Kites in New York City, and co-produced by the anthropologist Maria Frederika Malmström for the multimedia project relating to her book "The Streets Are Talking to Me: Affective Fragments in Sisi’s Egypt" (University of California Press, 2019).
