This project marks the collaboration between Saporta, an established artist within the Desert Vision family and a promising talent in the international techno scene from Valencia, and The Hanumans, a DJ/producer duo based in Milan and holding residency at the renowned The Sanctuary, with noteworthy releases on genre-defining labels. 

"Charterhouse" captures the sonic essence of the spontaneous encounter between these artists, produced in Ancona's studio P2 following their memorable performance for Desert Vision in the same city. The natural alchemy resulting from their different backgrounds reaffirms that music is a universal form of expression, capable of uniting and creating unique expressive languages. 

We've enriched the EP with two distinctive remixes; Purple Tape delivers an indie dance version, preserving the original's determined groove, while Baladeva Balarama offers a melodic techno interpretation, sculpting compelling melodic lines and pulsating basslines. 

The final product is an authentic and original creation, designed to ignite dancefloors with high-energy vibes.

Desert Vision presents the second installment of the Pure Kalotype series, an evocative journey from light to darkness within a desert dimension—an expansive canvas to be decorated and curated.

This collection features a blend of familiar faces who have contributed since the beginning to the label, alongside a cadre of new talents making their debut with Desert Vision. The outcome is a sonic odyssey that delves into the myriad facets of this world, transitioning from organic soundscapes to pure electronic realms. It's a voyage from day to night, from sunset to dawn.

The journey begins with sounds that are deeply rooted in the organic, where natural rhythms and melodies paint the early stages of the voyage. As the sun sets, the music evolves, introducing more electronic elements that mirror the encroaching darkness. By nightfall, we find ourselves enveloped in pure electronic soundscapes, a testament to the endless possibilities that the desert, and indeed this compilation, holds.

From the luminous warmth of dawn to the enigmatic embrace of night, Pure Kalotype Vol. 2 is a celebration of contrasts—a musical exploration of the transitions and transformations that define both the desert and the human experience within it.

We are delighted to unveil the latest release on Desert Vision, Stroopwafel, a tribute to the iconic Dutch treat that merges culinary inspiration with electronic craftsmanship.

The original mix by Purple Tape and Tal Tobi serves up a blend of flavors like glitched vocals, stroopy basslines, and funk-infused rhythms.

Adding depth to the release is a mesmerizing remix by Axel Rey, an artist known for his elegant style. Axel's remix reimagines the track with a desert-inspired ambiance, weaving intricate melodies and subtle textures.

Rounding out the package, Nino Tores delivers a bold and energetic remix that's built for the dancefloor. With its punchy basslines, soaring synths, and infectious rhythms, Nino's take is a surefire anthem to get bodies moving and spirits lifted.
