this set is a gift that keeps on giving! listened to this again on my friends beautiful sound system on new years day and it just made me want to revisit again. and again. thank you!!!

WOW Moontribe turned 29 this year and still going strong! Who woulda thought our little full moon gatherings we started in 1993 would have become what it has become? Well I did, I knew it from the start! 

I had the honor of playing a 7 hour set to close it all out too!!! 7 fricken' hours!!! Ok well the last hour is definitely me just playing random songs I love for my friends (even thru in a Phil Collins track!), but that first 6 hours was pretty serious stuff!!! I started at around 10am and playing until 5pm ish. I hope you enjoy the journey!!!

This is a live recording of a set I played in the forest for Tropical's  Bring Love Back to Oregon Summer Campout in June 2022.

I was filling in on late notice for a DJ who was unable to make it, so this set is 100% on the fly. 

Wiggles were in order, as the lineup was all dance music - I had a lot of fun bringing my version of wiggles to this set.

After 30 years I didn't think Moontribe could reach a new peak, but we absolutely did with our 30 year anniversary Full Moon Gathering! The location was unreal, the weather perfect and the people brought so much love and dance floor energy, I was simply blown away completely! 

My annual super marathon closing set tradition continued and I gotta say, this one was my best one yet! I only made 2 mistakes which had me laughing in my head big time...guess I was just too busy paying attention to all the amazing people on the dance floor!!!! This is a deep journey into many styles and tempos, a ride from 3pm to 9pm, hot daytime into a super stormy sunset that whipped up the wind, brought a tiny bit of rain and even some lightening to really stir things up!!! Of course that happened right after I played the track "Eye Of The Storm" making things even more magical!!! WOW what an amazing time this was, I'll never forget it!!!

My PlayAlchemist set was by far gonna be my biggest set of the week. It simply wasn't meant to be as the rain shut down their camp for the rest of the burn (big time sad face)! I spent a lot of time crafting this set with the vibe of this epic camp in mind and re-recorded it in hopes that the energy and vibe I intended can be captured a bit...this set was meant to be played from 12:30am to 2:30am so clearly I planned a bit more than that with the intention of playing the section(s) that felt best in the moment.
