Desert are Barcelona-based producers Cristina Checa and Eloi Caballé. Buoyed by a skill set that includes sound design, composing and performing, Desert’s music slips between romance and melancholy to present a finished product that evokes the sensation of hazy transatlantic plane rides, opening the eyes only occasionally to catch glimpses of distant oceans, hazy sunsets and wrinkled mountain tops.
