Basically playing only 2 keys at the same time on keyboard. No effect used.

Here is a demo showing how the Solina String Ensemble can be right on your face with a wide wall of sounds!

On the first part, you hear CONTRABASS + CELLO + VIOLIN + BRASS with a sufficiently long SUSTAIN to give spacious sound.

On the second part, I added HORN to the previous voices.
Of course, MODULATION is enabled.

NOTE: This is the version 4 of the Eminent Solina String Ensemble, which is the stereo version with LEDs on the buttons.

Sound effect used: ROLAND SBF-325 Stereo Flanger mode 3.

Here is a very old improvisation that I found on a 4-track cassette. I overdubbed several tracks on the FOSTEX 260 using exclusively the KORG DW8000. It is a kind of minimalist music. Headphones recommended.

This is my second take of my Eminent Solina String Ensemble MK4 (Stereo verion). 

Now it is recorded using the Mono output of the Solina going thru the following Roland gears for further audio processing:

Solina -> EQ -> Phaser -> Dimension D -> Reverb

C'est une petite improvisation qui démontre ce que peut faire l'unité de réverbération Fostex 3180.

La première piste est faite en une seule prise avec la boite à rythme Roland TR33 et le KORG X911 (piloté par une guitare électrique) qui passe à travers le filtre Peavey Spectrum Filter.

La deuxième piste est un accompagnement utilisant le Roland Jupiter-4.

It is a small improvisation that demonstrates what can do the reverb unit Fostex 3180.

The first track is done in one take with the Roland drum machine  TR33 and the KORG X911 (driven by an electric guitar) which passes through the filter Peavey Spectrum Filter.

The second track is a part using the Roland Jupiter-4.

C'est une pièce musicale que j'ai créée en utilisant principalement des synthétiseurs monophoniques et un polyphonique DW8000 (incluant aussi le EX800 empilé discrètement).

Tous les synthés mono sont partis depuis ... ce n'était peut-être pas une bonne idée de les vendre quand j'entends ce que j'ai fait sur cette composition. Pensez-y à deux fois avant d'offrir votre matériel; vous pouvez le regretter après un certain temps.

Sur la plupart des pistes, les deux synthétiseurs Mini-Korg et CS-15 ont la place d'honneur, pendant que le Arp Explorer y fait figure de fioritures sonores. On peut entendre le Korg 900PS dans la partie finale (c'est le son de guitare acoustique).

Le Yamaha CS-15 est un de ceux que j'aurais dû gardé. Il est capable de produire une sonorité se rapprochant du Yamaha CS-80.

J'ai racheté un Mini-Korg mais il faut le réviser pour qu'il retrouve ses fonctions optimales.

This is a song that I created using mostly monophonic synthesizers and one polyphonic which is the KORG DW8000 (or I should say including the KORG EX800 stacked too.)

All mono synths are gone since then... maybe it was not a good idea to sell them when I hear what I've done on this song. Think twice before offering your gears, you may regret it after a while.

On most tracks, the two synthesizers Mini-Korg and CS-15 have the place of honor, while the Arp Explorer appears like sound embellishments. We can hear the Korg 900PS in the final part (it is the kind of acoustic guitar sound).

The Yamaha CS-15 is one of those I should have kept. It is capable of producing a sound similar to the Yamaha CS-80.

I bought another Mini-Korg but it requires a revision to get it works 100%.

This is a project that used various analog synthesizers. 
Some of them have been offered for sale and so they left my music room during the elaboration of tracks.

KORG PE-1000 (sold): a kind of choir sound. This is the Lexicon MX-400 that we hear mostly here. The PE-1000 is the sound base for the fx.
