A new test with the latest developments in the NOISE/VCF and LFO modules of Heritage Modular polyphonic synth.
Created with four LFO modules that modulate various parameters: VCF frequency, resonance, noise color, and amplitude.
Plus some live manipulations on certain knobs.
At the output, the MULTI-FX module in Zita reverb mode.
Played on eight independent voices, so with 8x NOISE and 32x LFO.
It's a palindrome; I layered two tracks: the original and the reversed copy.

Hibernation

A song that appeared on "Compilation For A Cat" - a compilation that was put together to help raise funds for the cat Bran's medical expenses.
The track is named after my own cat.

Kammarheit - Kosmos

The work is in two movements - Fraying and Prolonged. The first presents a sonic object that gradually disintegrates. The second reframes this object and slows it down, so that the process of decay is frozen, and the object appears almost immortal. The work grew out of reflections on 1 Corinthians 15 and Jiang Zhi's Love Letters (2014). In Jiang Zhi's photographs, flowers are on fire, but are not harmed by the flames.

These wet stone walls have become your prison and eternal home since your capture. The smell of blood and marrow fills your lungs as your fingers scratch to get out. The deeper you submerge into your future tomb, the more the air turns malignant. Distant cries creeps within earshot and suckling sounds slither in the dark. This is your ordeal. Will you become another soul bound to these stones?
