’Magnetic Hills’ is DESI’s debut 3 track EP. This unconfined release explores a variety of BPM’s while still affixed to her honeyed vocals and seductive sound. Out the jump with the single; ‘Magnetic Hills’ is an impassioned ride, embodying a full sentimental spectrum at 140 BPM. Picking up the pace next is ‘Birthright’, an illuminating liquid Dnb track periodically clouded with rugged bass and a wild climate. Ending off the EP with erotic hues at a vibey 85 BPM, ’Bijoux’ completes the picture sonically with a panoramic view.

DESI JAE is an up-and-coming electronic Music Producer and Artist. Having been born and raised in Vancouver B.C, she is ingrained in bass music culture indefinitely. 

Growing up as a jazz/blues singer, she's always experimented with making her own music, just her and the piano. Yet, unearthing her instincts for producing, and surrendering herself was what really catapulted her into the next stage. Instantly she collided her past - inviting melodies and intricate songwriting, with her present - a bass music fixation. Her eccentric concoction offers us a highly rhythmic, vocal-centric, bass affair. Each track, a conceptual offering to its listener; DESI JAE leaves no trace of uncertainty in the recipient's mind as to its meaning. Whether she’s traversing 85, 140, or 170 BPM, she uses every opportunity to submerge herself in an assortment of bass music styles.

Constantly maturing as an artist, who’s to say where DESI JAE could end up. With the studio being the love of her life, she will be paving her way in no time.
