Entre ses productions mélodiques et ses dj-set affûtés, DESK, jeune producteur belge de 27 ans, s'est fait remarquer dans les clubs lors de warm-up aux côtés de Miss Kittin, Kölsch, Etienne De Crecy ou encore en closing de Christian Loffler, Anthony Rother ou Felix Cage. Il s'associe en avril 2015 avec le collectif WALK et en août, il sort son premier EP "Mineral" qui va lui valoir quelques belles opportunités telles qu'une résidence sur Indepth radio (Bruxelles) le samedi soir, une première partie dans la salle mythique de l'Ancienne Belgique (NEON Festival) et un booking au festival électronique liégeois les Transardentes dans la Pyramide Room!

Laurent Chanal dives deep into the world of groove to fetch the balearic-inspired and sunny SAND EP. With the SAND original mix he combines warm ambient sounds, driving beats, soft synths and smooth effects, capturing the sunlight flooded evening mood of Ibiza. thds is a teamwork between Belgian-Portuguese multi-instrumentalist ‘Raoul’ and Belgian-Colombian vocalist-percussionist ‘Pierre’. Growing up in the same Jesuit forest school, they have developed a natural and resourceful brotherhood. Being influenced by their own cultural roots, they harmoniously combine acoustic and electronic music with organic world music.

The duet is obsessed with simplicity. Their musical will is to reduce superficiality to quintessence: life, nature, truth. Therefore they experiment around the themes of happiness, ecology and multiculturalism.

The two brothers started thds in April 2017 with a documentary video about their childhood city of ‘Luik’. They released ‘Peace Green’ in late 2017 on Lump Records (Chile-Mexico) and 'Walonreye' on Akumandra (NYC-Mexico) in 2018.

On this EP we have also 2 beautiful remixes from Lerr (Montenegro) & Rabih Rizk (Lebanon).

Thanks to his melodic productions and his acute live performances/deejay sets this 29-year-old Belgian producer is getting more and more attention on the club scene. He already played along and opened for Miss Kittin, Kölsch, Etienne de Crecy, AMYN, Christian Loffler, Dj Pierre and many other Belgian and international deejays. In August 2015 the release of his first EP “Mineral” got him noticed on a national scale and opened him the doors of a residency for Indepth radio (Brussels) and a partnership with the “WALK” collective.

Motivated by his successful start and these enriching encounters, he has just released a new EP: “LOW”, a richly dynamic peace of work that takes shape track after track between joyful harmonies and the uplifting arpeggios that have already become his signature touch.
