They were songs made between 1999 and 2003 (although this was a 2003 that sort of trailed on until 2006 at least). They were made by Andrew, Ben and Jim on the Magix Music Studio V 2000 software, which came free with a magazine or something. Everything was recorded from actual crap instruments into the PC's 3.5mm audio socket and chopped up and arranged linearly until something resembling a 'song' occurred.
