This is the 10th anniversary special edition arrangement for Bard of the Soulfilled Skies
This is Itsuna's theme! She made her official debut on 15 January 2015, that was 10 years ago, wow, time sure flies huh?
It's hard to believe that was 10 years ago

Itsuna means so much to me, she is my most important OC by far
From her humble beginnings in Majestic Curtain Melodies (2015), to her epic unleashed form with Demon of the Soulreaped Skies (2015), to her adventures in my first big non-meme video game; Graceful Danmaku Festival (2016), and then of course the 2017 version of her theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqnhxVdQy6M and the 2019 version of her theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S241_lsEJmQ

My goal here was to consolidate all different versions and their own little quirks into one big song to celebrate Itsuna's 10th anniversary, i wanted to make something that felt like a definitive version that combined all the best parts of the previous versions of Bard of the Soulfilled Skies into one big song, BUT while also building on the foundations, and adding new elements to truly bring Itsuna's theme song into the modern age of 2025

In particular, i really felt like the 2015 version of the song was not really represented well in the 2017 and 2019 versions, this is mainly due to me adding new instruments every time, but the problem is that i kept replacing the original instruments
So this time, i wanted to do more subtle layering, rather than replacing the iconic MIDI sound module instruments with "modern" VST instruments, i wanted to show multiple sides of Itsuna through a broad usage of different instrument sources, layered together in subtle ways
Particularly, this time, i tried to include more SD-90 instruments like the 2015 version, and i also included MU2000EX instruments again like the 2017 version

Now for the piano solo; this is where things get EXTREME
In 2017, i added a small piano solo to Bard of the Soulfilled Skies, just as a small little extension to the original song
In 2019, that piano solo became triple the length! Cool right?
The 2019 piano solo added new parts after the original 2017 piano solo
So, how can we top this in 2025? It's simple; we QUADRUPPLE THE LENGTH OF THE 2019 PIANO SOLO
That's right, this 2025 version has a piano solo that lasts for nearly 2 ENTIRE MINUTES, because why not?
I wanted to go ALL OUT with this insane piano solo, i wanted to create my craziest and most epic piano solo yet, and i really hope you can feel that deep within your soul as i did!
(It's also a little bit inspired by the long version of Wind God Girl from ZUN)

Itsuna is a kind and gentle soul (or rather, a bunch of them)
She is a schaei, a unique species that is original to my universe, and she has the ability to manipulate souls, both that of herself and those of others, but she hates using it for fighting, and prefers to spend her life relaxing, preferably in secluded and beautiful places
She is immortal, so she has plenty of time
These past 10 years have not changed much for Itsuna, despite getting pestered a little bit by Setsuya 9 years ago in Graceful Danmaku Festival (2016), similair disruptive events haven't really happened in the following years, and Itsuna has spent them doing what she does best; being free and enjoying the world
