The 8dio strings certainly have more power to them, and sound more natural than the Orchestral Tools instruments, and would work overall better with your usual epic-scale compositions. OT does have a more 'plaintive' attribute which might make it work better for a composition like this one, calmer and melancholy. Hope this is helpful?

I agree with Derahex, 8dio has that more volumetric breath than the Orchestral tools. Like switching to up to 720p quality when it was previously at 480p at best
